Svyatoslav Shevchuk was elected a new Head of Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church (UGCC). He was born in Stryy, Lviv region, in 1970 and he is very highly educated and clever, and young as for the head of church. I hope he'll govern in the best way and will continue the activity of the former Head Lyubomyr Huzar.
The Head of UGCC Svyatoslav Shevchuk studied in "Don Bosko Centre" of Buenos Aires, Lviv Ecclesiastical Seminary and Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas in Rome. S. Shevchuk was vice-rector of Lviv Ecclesiastical Seminary of Saint Spirit in 2000-2007 and its rector in 2007-2009, L. Huzar's private secretary and chief of UGCC Secretariat in 2002-2005, vice-dean of theological faculty in Lviv Theological Academy (nowadays Ukrainian Catholic University) in 2001, bishop of UGCC in Buenos Aires from 2009.
