Poles want to have their church in Ukrainian museum "Shevchenkivskyy Grove" in Lviv! Nonsense!
Museum "Shevchenkivskyy Grove" was founded as a museum of people's architecture, mode and folklore of Ukrainians in 1971 and all buildings of "Shevchenkivskyy Grove" show exectly Ukrainian architecture and the way of life in the XVIIIth-the early XXth centuries. Monument to Taras Shevchenko, Ukrainian poet, writer, painter, public person, had yet been sculptured in USSR near the entrance of "Shevchenkivskyy Grove" and nowadays different Ukrainian ethnographic festivals take place in this famous Lviv museum-park.In general the conception of the creation of "Shevchenkivskyy Grove" was to show Ukrainian life of the XVIIIth-the early XXth centuries.
The professors of Gdansk Polytecnic Institute and Ministry of Culture and People's Heritage of Poland decided to restore wooden catholic church from the village Yazlivchyk of Brodiv area of Lviv region, because 80% of the church, built in 1936-1937, was destroyed. It's good decision to restore any church, but the next events are just incomprehensible! Polish professors from Gdansk and statemen of Polish Ministry of Culture and People's Heritage also decided to remove that wooden catholic church in Lviv museum "Shevchenkivskyy Grove" and to make active church! But! I didn't find any information about the restoration of this catholic church from Yazlivchyk on the site of Ministry of Culture and People's Heritage of Poland and I found such information only on Ukrainian sites. So the restoration and placing of Yazlivchyk's catholic church in Lviv Skansen can't be the official activity of that Polish Ministry and it can be only unofficial Polish Ministry's activity or some people decided "to cover" their unofficial activity with the name of Ministry of Culture and People's Heritage of Poland. In July of 2012 Polish scientists and students from Gdansk began to dismantle restored church from Yazlivchyk that it could be possible to remove the church in Lviv. And on October 4th, 2012 the stairs of this church had already been removed into "Shevchenkivskyy Grove". But the administration of the museum "Shevchenkivskyy Grove" and Lviv City Council didn't give the official permissions to put the catholic church from the village Yazlivchyk in Ukrainian Skansen "Shevchenkivskyy Grove" in Lviv! So why some Poles from Poland are such impudent and want to remove one church, situated in Ukraine, and to place the church in "Shevchenkivskyy Grove" museum without official permission of Lviv state power, official permission of the museum's administration and without scientific conferences? In Lviv there was one scientific conference about catholic church of Yazlivchyk in 2003 and Poles didn't get the permission to put that catholic church in "Shevchenkivskyy Grove", because Lviv Skansen demonstrate Ukrainian architecture, and not Polish. And in 2012 Poles from Poland decided to remove this church from Yazlivchyk in "Shevchenkivskyy Grove" only because they wanted to do it! Poland is a member of European Union. So is it normal situation for the country of EU to spit on the laws, decisions, prohibitions of the other country, even that country isn't in EU?
